David Hart

Director, Business Development

David joined Weatherbys in 1999 having previously worked for Britannia Building Society. Initially involved in the management of the operational side of the business, David has for a number of years headed up our Racing Bank division, and more recently has extended this role to manage a portfolio of clients in the Private Bank. His passion is ensuring that our clients are happy with our service, and that their expectations are not only met, but exceeded.

Henry Taylor

Associate Director, Racing Bank

Henry joined Weatherbys Private Bank in November 2017, moving to head the Racing Bank in 2019. Prior to Weatherbys, Henry worked for Lloyds Bank where he held a number of senior roles in both their domestic and international private banking businesses.

Tom Jonason

Head of Business Development

Tom joined Weatherbys Racing Bank as Head of Business Development in November 2017, bringing with him a wealth of industry knowledge and experience. Before turning to the world of financial services, Tom was Assistant Trainer to Paul Nicholls for six years. During that time the Nicholls team gained a number of landmark successes including the 2012 Grand National, numerous Cheltenham Festival winners and five trainer’s titles. Immediately prior to joining Weatherbys, Tom was Business Development manager at RacingFX for 18 months.

Dominic Haldane

Head of Treasury

Dominic joined Weatherbys in 2012 and has nearly thirty years of banking experience, having previously worked at both Alliance & Leicester and Lloyds Bank. Dominic is head of the Treasury team and along with his colleagues Michael Ellwood & Tom Bennett, they focus on the provision of foreign exchange solutions to clients and management of the Bank’s funding and liquidity requirements. Dominic holds both the ACI Dealing Certificate & ACI Diploma accreditations.

Caroline Marray

VAT Return Service Manager

Caroline Marray, VAT Return Service Manager, joined the Racing Division of Weatherbys Limited in 1996 after graduating from the University of Leicester. She moved to Weatherbys Bank in 2004, where her racing expertise has been put to good use. She is a keen follower of jump racing, aiming to never miss a Cheltenham meeting.
