Simon is a Senior Private Banker at Weatherbys, having joined the Private Bank in 2010. Primarily based from our London office, Simon looks after a diverse portfolio of clients located across the country, providing advice across banking, credit and investments. His clients include professionals, entrepreneurs, landowners and individuals within the sports and entertainment fields, and he is supported by Bimal Bhatt.
Simon is also especially recognised for leading Weatherbys’ US Citizens Service, a specialised, experienced and welcoming Private Banking team dedicated to servicing US citizens with British banking requirements. Simon personally guides these individuals and their families through all the legislative complexities that opening a UK bank account entails, managing the entire process. He also leads the team in advising Weatherbys’ US clients on all aspects of their financial needs, including their day-to-day banking, foreign exchange and lending requirements. Simon ensures that each client receives a personal private banking service, tailoring Weatherbys’ facilities to suit each individual and their specific circumstances.
Accompanying his significant private banking experience, Simon has also accumulated numerous professional qualifications throughout his career: he is Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (IAD) and holds a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP).
