George is an Associate Private Banker in the London office supporting clients with both lending and investments, as well as their day-to-day banking needs. George joined Weatherbys in 2022 on the internship programme and has since progressed to his current role with a focus on growing his own diverse portfolio of clients. He also supports Senior Private Bankers with the unique requirements of their clients across investments and lending.
George read Classics at Durham University, achieving a first-class honours degree. Between completing his time as an intern and rejoining as an Associate Private Banker, George spent a year working in Spain developing his proficiency in Spanish.
In supporting his knowledge, George is working towards several professional qualifications, currently studying for the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) as well as looking to undertake the Private Client Investment Advice & Management qualification in 2024.
Outside of work, George spends most of his time either playing or following sport. He particular enjoys playing football, padel tennis, and more recently golf (albeit rather poorly!).
