Welcome to the London Office
Our flagship Private Bank office in London is located in Mayfair, in the heart of London’s West End, and is headed by Managing Director Quentin Marshall.
Having joined the Private Bank in 2017, Oliver is a Director at Weatherbys, based within the London office. As well as overseeing all of the Private Banking teams in London, Oliver manages a highly diverse portfolio of his own clients, providing bespoke advice on their credit and investment-related requirements. Oliver is principally supported by Jane Wyles, Principal Private Banking Executive, and Jamie Jackson, Private Banking Executive, who assist him in managing his portfolio.
Oliver’s expertise as a Private Banker is underpinned by his significant experience and the professional qualifications which he has accumulated throughout his career. These include the PCIAM, the CeMAP, the IAD and the CeFA. Additionally, before joining Weatherbys, Oliver was in the Army, leaving as a Captain within the Scots Guards regiment.
His portfolio encompasses a broad range of client types, including entrepreneurs, professionals and land owners. Oliver especially enjoys this diversity in his client base and the variety it brings. This is because it enables him to provide carefully tailored advice on a wide range of different topics, which spans both sides of his clients’ personal balance sheets. Additionally, Oliver enjoys resolving complicated issues with bespoke solutions, which requires a thorough understanding of, and deep relationship with, each of his clients.
Meanwhile, while outside of Weatherbys, Oliver will be found spending time with his young family.
Stephen joined Weatherbys Private Bank in January 2010 and is an Associate Director within our London office. Before joining Weatherbys, Stephen amassed a wealth of private banking experience having spent most of his professional life at Coutts & Co where he provided banking and wealth management to UK and international personal and corporate clients. Immediately prior to joining Weatherbys he was the investment adviser to a US based family and their charitable foundation. He is principally supported by Bimal Bhatt, Private Banking Executive, and David George, Private Banking Executive.
Stephen is a qualified financial planner, and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. He is a member of the bank’s Credit Committee and also sits as a Member Nominated Trustee on the Board of the Weatherbys Pension and Assurance Scheme.
