Alex joined Weatherbys in early 2025 and is based in our London office. After successfully completing our Associate Private Banker programme, he was promoted to Private Banker in summer 2026. In his role, he works with a diverse range of clients, providing advice across lending, investments and day-to-day banking requirements.
Alex has a specific interest in working with both law firm partners and clients with an international connection, helping them navigate complex financial needs with a tailored and bespoke approach.
He is dual qualified in both investments and lending. Alex holds the Level 6 Private Client Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM) qualification, which he passed with a Distinction and achieved the highest mark nationally in his sitting. He also holds the Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) and the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), providing him with expertise across both investment and lending disciplines.
Prior to joining Weatherbys, Alex read accounting and finance at Durham University, graduating with First Class Honours. He subsequently built a broad range of experience across start-up businesses and finance and strategy roles.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys travelling, cooking and staying active through sport. He is a keen golfer and enjoys spending time on the course whenever possible.
