The Spear’s 500 is a trusted directory highlighting top private client advisers and wealth management professionals. It includes leading experts in tax, philanthropy, property and family law, serving as a vital resource for those seeking the highest-quality advice. Unlike other guides, The Spear’s 500 includes advisers and firms solely on merit, ensuring the guide remains the industry’s definitive, merit-based index.

Ollie Barnett, Head of Private Clients, again earns recognition on the list. With 15 years’ experience in the wealth industry and a background as a Scots Guards officer, Ollie provides invaluable insight and leadership to our clients.

Deputy Head of Private Clients, Duncan Gourlay, who leads Weatherbys Private Bank’s Scottish operations, is also included. Duncan has been with Weatherbys since 2013 and brings a wealth of experience from previous roles at Barclays, Bank of Scotland and Adam & Co.

Hayley Robinson, Private Banker at our Scotland office, continues to be recognised by Spear’s too. Managing a diverse client base, from entrepreneurs to landowners, Hayley is often on the road, travelling from Thurso in the north of Scotland to Dumfries in the south to meet clients.

Rounding out Weatherbys Spear’s 500 quartet is Senior Private Banker Shirley Coe, whose distinguished career in wealth management and private banking spans South Africa, Singapore and London. A staunch advocate for women, she leads our women and finance initiative, as well as advising clients on mortgages, tax and investments.

Spear’s is a renowned wealth management and luxury lifestyle magazine, often likened to a blend of Forbes and Vanity Fair. It is a leading publication for the financial community, including bankers, lawyers, and family offices advising high-net-worth individuals.
