Often regarded as one of the most prestigious accolades within the private client and wealth management sector, the Spear’s Awards recognise excellence among the UK’s leading advisers, private banks and wealth managers.
Private Bank of the Year – UK
Weatherbys Private Bank has been named Private Bank of the Year – UK on multiple occasions, recognising the Bank’s commitment to delivering outstanding service and performance for high-net-worth individuals and families.

Spear’s 500 Wealth Management Index
Widely regarded as the “Michelin Guide” to wealth management, the Spear’s 500 identifies outstanding advisers and professionals across private banking, wealth management, tax, philanthropy, family law and related disciplines. Individuals and firms are included on merit, based on expertise, reputation and service excellence.

Weatherbys Banking Group is proud to have had both its Chairman, Roger Weatherby, and Chief Executive Officer, Quentin Marshall, recognised within this prestigious index.
Quentin is a former Spear’s UK Private Banker of the Year and has led Weatherbys Private Bank since 2023, guiding the business through a period of continued growth and development. Roger Weatherby has been recognised for his long-standing contribution to private banking and stewardship of the seventh-generation family business.
Citywealth Magic Circle Awards
The Citywealth Magic Circle Awards celebrate excellence across private banking, wealth management and financial advice, with winners assessed by an independent panel of industry professionals.

Private Banking & Wealth Management Awards
The Private Banking & Wealth Management Awards recognise leading organisations across the UK’s private banking and wealth management sector, assessing factors such as business performance, growth, client acquisition and retention, service quality and strategic development.

- Professional recognition – Nathan Valbonesi, our Head of Financial Planning, received a CISI award for achieving the highest mark of the year in a postgraduate financial planning qualification.
