Yiwei joined Weatherbys as Associate Private Banker in 2023, supporting clients with their day-to-day banking, lending, and investment and wealth advice. Prior to joining Weatherbys, Yiwei spent two years working as a finance analyst at Nomura Investment Bank in London, as well as a year spent in an analyst role at the International Olympic Committee in Switzerland.
Due to her diverse and international background, and career path to date, Yiwei is able to support a wide range of private clients regardless of their background, location or requirements. She read Statistics and Management for Business at University College London, graduating with a first-class honours BSc degree before going on to complete a Master’s in Finance at Cambridge University.
Yiwei’s experience is supported by professional qualifications, including the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) and the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD). She is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant and is currently preparing to undertake PCIAM (Private Client Investment Advice & Management) with a view to broadening her knowledge further.
Outside of her role at Weatherbys, Yiwei enjoys a range of sports including windsurfing, scuba-diving and skiing. She has also recently taken up golf and tennis.
