At Weatherbys, we are passionate about learning and development. The Weatherbys Academy gives you access to a wealth of development routes and options based on your role and learning preferences. This may span from a professional qualification, to an internal or external classroom event, on-line learning activities as well as on-the-job coaching and mentoring .
On-demand learning
The way people learn has changed and our learning and development strategy has adapted with it, so now supports a range of delivery methods intended to ensure that activity achieves the outcome intended.
We operate an e-Learning platform which hosts a range of learning material and supports the tracking of Continued Professional Development (CPD).
The interactive learning platform includes a wealth of both regulated and broader learning content that can be accessed at any time to help colleagues to take control of their learning and development.
Leadership & Management development
We provide Leadership and Management development programmes for all our line managers.
Whether someone is new to managing people, or looking to develop their leadership capability, we offer a range of programmes that can support this journey. Our programmes focus on both the conceptual and practical aspects of management to ensure all our people are successful in their roles as managers and leaders.
We deliver these programmes at three different levels:
- Introduction to management
- Essentials of management for experienced managers
- Exceptional senior leadership
Professional qualifications
Where possible, we aim to support colleagues to attain the relevant professional qualification for their role and chosen field of work. For those in a regulated role we also offer financial support and time off to successfully complete any required regulatory qualifications.
Bespoke training
Through our normal appraisal and performance reviews, you are able to create a personal development plan which will enable you to excel in your role, and hopefully support the achievement of your career aspirations while working at Weatherbys.
