Robert is a Senior Private Banker at Weatherbys, with over 25 years of experience advising high-net-worth private clients. Providing bespoke advice on all aspects of their financial affairs, Robert manages a broad range of clients across various sectors including entrepreneurs, executives, and media and film professionals. While Robert and his team primarily operate from Weatherbys’ Head Office in Wellingborough, you will regularly find him all across the country, wherever his clients are based. Robert works with Anna Palmer, who provides clients with dedicated service and advice on a day-to-day basis.
While Robert enjoys many aspects of private banking, he especially enjoys going to meet clients, either at their place of business or at home. He thrives on taking this time to work closely with each individual, to provide carefully tailored advice across both their lending and investment requirements. Able to find solutions that allow his clients to meet their specific financial goals and objectives, Robert describes this process as especially fulfilling.
Prior to joining Weatherbys, Robert had spent the entirety of his career with HSBC Group. Working there for over 25 years, Robert joined their Private Banking division in 1994. Alongside his significant experience, Robert has also accumulated numerous professional qualifications throughout his career. Alongside his Degree in Financial Services, Robert holds a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) and is Level 6 qualified in Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM).
Away from private banking, Robert is a keen sports enthusiast and particularly enjoys running or golf – or at least walking around a golf course looking for a white ball!
