Clare Munro FCA TEP

Clare Munro is a Chartered Accountant and Trust and Estate Practitioner and is the Senior Tax Adviser at Weatherbys Private Bank. 

Clare has spent her career giving advice to taxpayers across the spectrum, from some of the largest corporations to individuals and owner managed businesses. Her tax career began at Price Waterhouse before developing an interest in private client work and joining specialist firms Haslers and Lubbock Fine as a partner.

At Weatherbys, Clare works alongside banking and financial planning colleagues to provide tax input into clients’ financial decisions and arrangements. As part of her mission to create awareness of the tax issues that can create headwinds for an otherwise well-laid financial plan, Clare produces regular columns for the Financial Times, with a particular focus on inheritance tax (IHT) and estate planning, trusts and succession planning.  Past articles include contributions to What Investment and Taxation magazine.
