Alex joined Weatherbys at the beginning of 2025 as an Associate Private Banker, based in the London office. In his role, he supports private bankers in advising a diverse range of clients on lending, investments and day‑to‑day banking requirements.
Alex supports the wider City Professionals initiative, with a particular focus on the Law Firm Group, and also works closely with US Citizen clients.
Alex is dual‑qualified. He is Level 6 qualified in investments, having completed the Private Client Investment Advice and Management qualification (PCIAM), which he passed with a Distinction. He has also completed the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) Level 4 and the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), the latter qualifying him in lending.
Prior to joining Weatherbys, Alex studied Accounting and Finance at Durham University, graduating with First Class Honours. He has gained broad experience through roles in a start‑up environment as well as within finance and strategy teams.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys travelling and is a keen sportsman, and is particularly fond of a round of golf.
