Trio named among UK’s Top 50 Private Bankers

Private bankers Aidan Faik, Shirley Coe and Nick Manduca have been named in the Citywealth Top 50 Private Bankers List for 2026.

Aidan Faik, Head of Landed Estates, joined Weatherbys in 2018, and provides bespoke advice on all aspects of his clients’ financial affairs, including banking, lending and investments. While he manages a highly diverse client portfolio, he specialises in farms and estates, helping clients develop long-term financial strategies.

Shirley Coe, Senior Private Banker, who has been with Weatherbys for five years, specialises in a range of financial planning services. A passionate advocate for empowering women, she leads our Women and Finance initiative, as well as advising clients on mortgages, tax and investments.

Meanwhile, Senior Private Banker and Team Lead, Nick Manduca, who joined us in 2025, is also included in the Top 50. With more than 15 years’ experience, Nick works closely with business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals, with particular expertise in generational planning and business transition.

Wider recognition for our Scotland and North West private bankers

Duncan Gourlay, Hayley Robinson, Laurence Jackson and Michelle Duncalf, who operate from our Scotland and Manchester offices, were also included in the broader Citywealth Leaders List.

As Deputy Head of Private Clients, Duncan Gourlay leads Weatherbys Private Bank’s Scottish operations. He has been with Weatherbys since 2013 and brings extensive experience from previous roles at Barclays, Bank of Scotland and Adam & Co. His colleague in the Scotland office, private banker Hayley Robinson, is also on the list. Managing a diverse client base, from entrepreneurs to landowners, Hayley often travels from Thurso in the north to Dumfries in the south to meet clients.

The list also recognises two private bankers who joined our Manchester office last year.

With a 30-year career in private client and wealth management, Senior Private Banker Michelle Duncalf is also recognised. She brings extensive experience of working with some of the North-West’s most successful entrepreneurs, offering specialist advice and long-term financial solutions.

Private Banker Laurence Jackson has more than three decades of experience advising a wide range of high-net-worth clients across banking, lending and investments. He specialises in working with individuals in sports and entertainment as well as business owners and entrepreneurs.
