Tom joined Weatherbys in 2017, initially in a business development role until his appointment as Private Banker in 2021. Working in our Wellingborough office, he is principally supported by Mark Johnson, who has also formed strong relationships with Tom’s clients.
Tom’s experience is accompanied by professional qualifications in the form of the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) and Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM). Further to this, Tom is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI).
Before joining us, Tom spent six successful years as Assistant Trainer to the champion National Hunt trainer, Paul Nicholls, OBE. This blend of expertise has seen Tom build strong relationships with our Racing Bank clients in his business development role and, as a Private Banker, Tom now enjoys looking after the personal banking for many of these clients as well. He particularly likes this aspect of his job where he looks after clients and their families from across the country who are involved in the racing industry including trainers, stud farms and racehorse owners.
Outside of Weatherbys and his love of horse racing, you will find Tom keeping active through his passion for running, riding and looking after his young family.
