Michael joined Weatherbys in August 2025 as Senior Private Banker in our London office. He provides bespoke advice on all aspects of his clients’ financial affairs, including their banking, lending and investment-related requirements.
Michael has worked in private banking since 1994, accumulating significant experience within the industry. Michael joined from Citi Private Bank’s Wealth At Work sector where he was responsible for a portfolio of law firm clients in their law firm group team. Prior to that he worked in Citi’s ultra high net worth team covering the Middle East, predominantly clients based in Abu Dhabi working out of that office.
Before life at Citi, he worked for HSBC Private Bank covering the Middle East region. He started his career with NatWest where he was the first customer services officer in the West End region.
Michael’s significant experience is accompanied by the professional qualifications he has accumulated throughout his career, including the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) and the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD). Michael is also a chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
Outside of the office, Michael enjoys playing golf, watching football and dining out.
