Nick Gornall has over 40 years of experience within the financial services sector.
With a background in commercial and retail banking, his role mainly focuses on advising high net worth individuals and families in the private banking and wealth management sector.
Having worked for Coutts, Arbuthnot Latham, and for the last two years at Weatherbys Private Bank, Nick has been involved in advising private clients and growing private client businesses. He has a vast experience of the changing landscape for investments and tax planning.
In his career, Nick has worked with a wide range of clients, including company executives and legal professionals in the landed estates, sports and creative arenas. Nick’s main expertise involves advising owner-managers and family businesses through all stages of the business growth cycle, preparing entrepreneurs for both pre- and post-exit.
At Weatherbys, Nick oversees our focus on the entrepreneurs, developing strong networks with complementary partners and supporting a range of early stage, growth and scale companies. Additionally, those now post-exit looking for new investment opportunities.
Nick is a Chartered Wealth Manager and has actively shared his experiences by lecturing at a variety of business schools globally. He is a former Trustee of the Coutts Charitable Trust.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Nick is a keen rugby and football fan. He is also an active member of the RAC with an interest in motor sports and classic cars. As a proud father and grandfather, he understands the challenges of multi-generational planning.
