CREATING THE FUTURE 2019

Following all the positive feedback from our inaugural event in 2018, we decided to host a second Creating the Future conference. This took place on 1st October 2019 at the Institute of Engineering and Technology in London.

We invited our guests to hear twelve eminent and eloquent experts address some of the most topical issues affecting us now and in the future:

  • The future of democracy
  • The revolution in healthcare and mental wellbeing
  • The state of the environment and how to tackle the climate crisis

SUSTAINABILITY ON SAVILE ROW

This week we are featuring an article contributed by Huntsman, a valued partner supporting our Creating the Future Conference.  Weatherbys and Huntsman have much in common: heritage, horses, the ‘handling of delicate matters’ as well as an appetite for looking into the future.

DOUGHNUT ECONOMICS

Kate Raworth tells us why we need to rethink current economic models. Doughnut Economics is the new economic model which; is gaining traction around the world; aims to meet the needs of all people within the means of the living planet; and calls for building a ‘regenerative and distributive’ economy that prioritises people and the planet over endless economic growth.
