It is our priority to do all we can to help our clients in these difficult circumstances. We are continuing to provide our usual high levels of service, giving you peace of mind that we are taking care of your financial needs.

Getting in touch out of hours

OUT OF HOURS

Our services

Our services remain almost entirely as usual: all our operational systems are fully functional, we are easily contactable by phone or email, able to progress new lending requests open new accounts and provide investment and financial planning advice.

So if members of your family, friends or colleagues are facing difficulties – not able to contact their bank, not able to borrow or deposit money or access advice – then please do put them in touch with us and we will do our best to help.  

Lending

We continue to support our clients’ borrowing requests and have not changed our careful and prudent lending criteria.  We are able to progress new lending requests quickly and flexibly.  All our operational systems are fully functional, meaning we can put new facilities in place in days.  If you need our help, please get in touch with your Private Banker.

Deposits

Unsurprisingly, given our conservatively managed balance sheet, we have seen an increase in deposits over the last few weeks.  If you would like to open a new deposit account, please do get in touch with your banker. We continue to offer competitive rates, as well as loyalty rates for longstanding clients.

Financial planning

If you would like to review your financial plans in light of the current situation, then please do not hesitate to get in touch.  Be it over the phone or a video conference call, we are always more than happy to have a conversation, even if it’s just to reassure you that your current plans make good sense.

Cash Delivery by ICE

ICE (the International Currency Exchange) services have resumed. Please contact your Private Banker or the helpdesk if you would like to use this service.

Debit Card Contactless Payments

As of 1st April, you can use your Weatherbys debit card to make contactless payments up to £45, provided the merchant is set up to accept the increase).

Online & mobile banking

Our online banking and mobile app services continue to provide a quick and easy way to complete transactions.  Please do contact your Private Banker or the Bank Helpdesk if you would like to register for these services.

Postal services

If possible, please avoid using the post to contact us as there may be a delay in handling it: do telephone or send an email instead.

Cheques

Due to reduced postal services, we are encouraging clients to use our faster payment or online bank transfer services for the moment. Please do call your Private Banker or the Bank Helpdesk for assistance with this.
