Our tradition of giving back to society

Weatherbys has a long tradition of giving back to society, often through the local communities where we have offices and more recently through The Weatherbys Charitable Foundation set up by Weatherbys Group of companies.

The Weatherbys Charitable Foundation has been formed to collect and hold funds donated by the Weatherbys companies, employees and clients and then to make distribution to a range of good causes. The chosen charities all provide care, support, therapy and assistance for children and young people.

The Foundation does not restrict its support to racing and equine charities. The Trustees will consider applications from any charity.

Weatherbys philanthropic ethos, often inspired by employee initiatives, and the new Foundation brings structure and identity to this important aspect of our organisation.

The Weatherbys Charitable Foundation is registered with the UK Charity Commission, with Charity Number 1122761.

Next year, we are planning a year long programme of events to support charity: water.

This non-profit organisation brings clean, safe drinking water to people in developing countries. In a radically transparent model, 100% of the public donations received by the charity reaches the areas in greatest need by funding sustainable water projects and working with local partners to implement them.
So far, it’s funded over 35,000 water projects worldwide delivering clean water, hygiene and improved sanitation to 9.5 million people. Charity: Water then uses innovative technology and powerful storytelling to share the precise impact of their positive work with their donors.
