Katherine Andrews

Senior Private Banking Execuitve

After joining the Private Bank in 2016, Katherine is now a Senior Private Banking Executive at Weatherbys, having started her career in Corporate Finance at Deutsche Bank working as an Associate in the Conflict Clearing team for Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to joining Weatherbys, Katherine spent two years in New Zealand working in the world of International Polo and reporting for the Polo Times magazine.

Working alongside Aidan Faik, Senior Private Banker, Katherine is responsible for managing the day-to-day running of Aidan’s portfolio, as well as one of her own, and this includes the provision of lending advice and personal banking services. Whilst Katherine provides support for a diverse selection of clients, the focus of her work centres on the wealth management associated with Farms and Landed Estates. Together, Aidan and Katherine are well versed in the complexities of estate management.

Katherine has a keen personal interest in the protection and restoration of degraded landscapes through the process of rewilding and the adoption of a more biodiverse approach to land management. Exploration of these systems will help estates to adapt and ultimately benefit from forthcoming changes in regulation.

Katherine’s knowledge is supplemented by the professional qualifications accumulated throughout her career, including the Professional Banker Certificate (CIOB), Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) and the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD). Outside of Weatherbys, Katherine enjoys horse riding, reading, and travelling to far flung destinations in search of memorable cuisine. She currently divides her time between Cornwall, Northumberland, and the Middle East.
